We welcome you to the 37th edition of the International Music Course of Benidorm, a renowned event that brings together graduate musicians and advanced-level and professional students. This course offers a unique experience where emerging talent meets the expertise of renowned professionals.
The 2025 edition will take place at the “José Pérez Barceló” Professional Conservatory of Music, located on Jaén Street in Benidorm, providing an ideal space for the artistic and professional growth of participants.
Teachers
Jose Luis García
Oboe Teacher
Graduate of the Royal Academy of Music and former member of the Karajan Akademie of the Berliner Philharmoniker. He is a professor at the Barenboim-Said Academy and first oboe of the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Bayreuth Festival Orchestra since 2020.
Mariano García
Saxophone Teacher
Renowned musician and pedagogue, currently professor at the ESMUC in Barcelona. He has taught at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Aragón and at the Luca School of Music in Leuven. He is also a Selmer artist.
Conrado Moya
Marimba Teacher
Marimba teacher at the Centro Superior de Musica de Galicia, the Escuela Superior de Música de Alto Rendimiento (ESMAR) in Valencia and the Centro Superior Progreso in Madrid.
Angel Sanzo
Piano Teacher
International award-winning pianist and outstanding Spanish pedagogue trained under the tutelage of Joaquín Soriano and Alicia de Larrocha, among others. He currently teaches at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Badajoz and at the Universidad Alfonso X in Madrid, as well as being a frequent juror in music competitions.
Miguel Colom
Violin teacher
Miguel is concertmaster of the National Orchestra and Choir of Spain and winner of prestigious international violin competitions. He has played as a soloist with important orchestras. In addition, he combines his artistic career with teaching at institutions such as the Escuela Superior Reina Sofía and the Barenboim-Said Academy.
Françoise Benda
Clarinete Teacher
Brazilian clarinetist, he made his debut in 1988 and has performed in the main halls of the world as soloist and chamber musician. His discography includes works by Nielsen, Debussy and Rossini. He also combines his artistic career with teaching in Berlin and Basel, and leads innovation in the manufacture of clarinets with his company Clarinartis.

The number of participants in the Active modality is 12 places per specialty, except for piano, which will be 10.

XXVI Benidorm Music Competition
In parallel, the 26th Benidorm Music Competition will take place, this year dedicated to the specialty of Clarinet. All active participants in this specialty who wish to take part are welcome to join.
Marimba One, a leading brand in the sector, in collaboration with the XXXVI Benidorm International Music Course and thanks to the presence of Conrado Moya and Katarzyna Mycka, Marimba One artists, offers the possibility of purchasing, with significant discounts, a series of instruments , which appear in the attached catalogue.
